Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
